DESCRIPTION:Did you know that there likely to be Gypsy or settled Roma people living in or near in your parish? Communities who are often overlooked\, unseen and unheard. \n\n\n\nOur diocese is committed to growing a church where Gypsy\, Roma\, and Traveller communities are genuinely welcomed\, respected and valued. \n\n\n\nWe believe this work should be based on listening\, learning and working in partnership with GRT communities and people who want to be involved. \n\n\n\nAs a first step\, Bishop Philip will be hosting a gathering which will bring together people to share experiences\, to listen to each other and to explore how the Diocese can support these communities. \n\n\n\nYou are warmly invited to be part of the gathering on 11 May 2026. If you are a member of a Gypsy\, Roma or Traveller community please do come and help us to shape our work and ministry by sharing your experiences and challenging the ways we may think about your communities and how you want to be welcomed and valued. \n\n\n\nIf you are involved in pastoral care and social justice or want to help to tackle the marginalisation faced by GRT Communities this gathering is for you too. DESCRIPTION:The Basic and Foundation courses must be completed prior to this course. \n\n\n\nThe Leadership Pathway comprises of two 90-minute Zoom sessions\, with workbook tasks before each session and a reflective evaluation after the final session. Both session dates must be attended and the reflective evaluation returned\, to complete this course. \n\n\n\nThe 1st Zoom session for this cohort is on 12 May 2026 at 12:30pm. \n\n\n\nTo book a place\, please go to the CofE Training Portal and log in with your username and password. \n\n\n\nScroll down to the ‘Courses’ section\, click on ‘Leadership’ tab\, then ‘Winchester – Leadership’\, then ‘Enrol me.’ Fill in your details\, submit them\, and we will email you back as soon as possible to confirm your enrolment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue: Online
