DESCRIPTION:LLM Funeral Ministry Training \nThis training is for any LLM in the diocese who would value training on the vital ministry surrounding death\, bereavement and funerals. It will be suitable both for those who wish to add to previous training or for those who are new to this ministry. SUMMARY:Leadership Training for Area Deans and Assistant Area Deans
DESCRIPTION:This will be a valuable opportunity to connect\, reflect\, and grow together in our leadership roles. Lunch will be provided. \nEstablished Leaders Workshop: \nThis workshop helps experienced leaders refine their leadership abilities and enhance their personal development so as to increase their leadership influence. \nThe workshop will cover areas which include: \n\nOvercoming leadership plateaus and building resilient plans.\nDeepening self-awareness for personal growth.\nLeading effectively under pressure while maintaining personal well-being.\nStrengthening team leadership through delegation\, difficult conversations\, and conflict resolution.\nMentoring less experienced leaders and passing on expertise.\n\n\nThe workshop will be delivered by Simon Kirby a Senior Consultant with the Wakeman Wright Group. Simon has an understanding of the unique pressures of ordained ministry having been ordained for over 20 years and served as a school chaplain\, police chaplain and latterly for 12 years as vicar of a benefice in the Diocese of Oxford and assistant Area Dean. DESCRIPTION:This is the launch session of the BCM Beyond Church Walls programme. BCM Beyond Church Walls is for anyone who has noticed the gap arising between the church they’re attending and the people outside who would either never come to worship in it\, or if they came once would be unlikely to stay. Beyond Church Walls aims to help you start to close this gap by going to where people are and starting there\, rather than inviting people to come to where you are. This means unlearning things and challenging some of our tightly held beliefs and attitudes. But it can start us on an unforeseeably exciting journey. \nIn this programme we will explore creative ways to take your ministry out of the church building and into the community. It will help you find ways to share the gospel true to your local context and help build confidence to be yourself in mission.
